About This Experience
Join IJAG for our Fall Reading Experience as we journey through Ties That Tether by Jane Igharo.
Over four intentional weeks, we'll read, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations centered around the novel's themes of identity, love, family, culture, faith, belonging, and the ties that shape our lives.
Beginning with our virtual Opening Session on Sunday, October 11, 2026, participants will gather weekly for guided discussions thoughtfully curated through IJAG's pillars of Faith, Friendships, and Femininity. More than simply discussing a book, we'll explore how its themes intersect with our own stories while building authentic community with women from around the world.
The experience concludes with THE TETHER—our signature immersive Closeout Event on Saturday, November 7, 2026. Inspired by the heart of the novel, this elegant in-person celebration will feature beautiful décor, curated experiences, meaningful conversations, themed details, and intentional opportunities to deepen the friendships formed throughout the Reading Experience.
